In 2025, Bahini Educare Foundation continued to create meaningful, measurable change in the lives of vulnerable women and children across Kaski and Tanahun. Through our holistic EduCare Family Project, we addressed the root causes of vulnerability: Poverty, Exclusion, lack of education, and social isolation, while ensuring immediate safety and long-term resilience.
Our approach goes beyond short-term relief. By combining protection, education, health, and livelihood support, we enable families to move from crisis to stability, and from stability to self-reliance.

Protection & Safety
- Zero cases of trafficking, child marriage, unsafe migration, or exploitation among supported families
- 100% insurance coverage for all mothers and daughters
- Continuous monitoring through regular home visits
Families Reached
- 72 families supported across two districts
- 66 mothers and 149 children receiving comprehensive care
- 5 families became self-reliant and successfully reintegrated
Education
- 163 children supported in education programs
- 98% school retention rate
- 100% enrollment in government schools
- 23 students appeared in national exams, 18 successfully passed
Health & Wellbeing
- 1,500+ individuals reached through health and awareness programs
- Access to healthcare, hygiene, and mental health support significantly improved
- Counselling support provided to vulnerable mothers and adolescent girls
Food Security & Basic Needs
- All supported families have consistent access to food and essentials
- Monthly distribution of food, hygiene supplies, and educational materials ensured stability and dignity
Livelihood & Independence
- 60 mothers trained in financial literacy
- 5 mothers started micro-enterprises (poultry farming)
- Women and girls enrolled in vocational training (tailoring, hospitality, bakery)
- Internship opportunities created for youth to enter the workforce
Community Awareness & Empowerment
- 1,500+ participants engaged in awareness programs (health, mental health, child protection, anti-discrimination)
- Formation of a Girls' Committee to amplify youth voices
- Active Mothers' Committee driving community-led solutions
